On the 26th of October, 2023, Government Science College, Veraval, orchestrated a significant Cleanliness Drive in line with the directives of the Commissionerate of Higher Education, operating under the banner of "Swachhta Hi Seva." The event, meticulously organized and executed, was a testament to the commitment of the college community, including students and staff, towards the noble cause of environmental sustainability. The driving force behind this initiative was the college's Principal, Dr. S.B. Chhag, alongside the guidance and support of NSS Program Officer Dr. S.G. Chovatiya, and the dedicated efforts of Cleanliness Coordinator Mr. S.M. Sitapara. The multifaceted event involved not only the conscientious collection and responsible disposal of single-use plastics and hazardous materials but also the revitalization and reorganization of the Botany, Chemistry, and Zoology laboratories, aiming to enhance their operational efficiency.
