Government Science College Veraval organized essay writing competition, under the banner of Saptadhara, Gyandhara, providing a platform for students to showcase their literary prowess and critical thinking skills. The event aimed to encourage intellectual development and foster a spirit of healthy competition among the students. Students from different years and departments enthusiastically took part, reflecting the college’s commitment to promoting holistic education. The competition featured a thought provoking theme centred around Indian Scientists contribution to the world and India as a foundation of world reformation. The students were given one hour to write their novel thoughts on the given topic. Total 18 students were registered for the competition. After careful deliberation, the judging penal, P. J. Jadeja and M. L. Parmar selected the winners based on the overall merit of their essays. The first rank was secured by Ram Shivani, Balai Dharmishtha got second rank and Mer Keval secured third rank. In the end the coordinator of the event, M. L. Parmar announced that the winners would be awarded certificate and trophy in the coming annual function. The entire program was coordinated by M. L. Parmar under the guidance of the principal of the college, Dr. S.B. Chhag.
