As a part of the nationwide “Fit India Movement” initiated by the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat, Government Science College Veraval organized ‘Poster Exhibition Competition’ on 19th Nov. 2025 to spread the importance of consuming minimal edible oil and adopting a healthy diet, to prevent lifestyle‑related diseases such as heart disease, cholesterol issues, obesity, diabetes, and digestive disorders and to promote healthy lifestyle habits among college students, staff, and the campus community.

The whole event was co-ordinated by Dr. Dhananjay Pandya under the guidance of Dr. Smita Chhag, Principal of college.
