Nature Education Camp at Batheshwar Campsite, Jamvala–Gir

Government Science College, Veraval successfully organized and completed a 2 Nights – 3 Days Nature Education Camp at Batheshwar Campsite, Jamvala–Gir. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from 38 students, accompanied by 2 staff members.
The camp was designed to provide students with first-hand exposure to nature, biodiversity, and environmental awareness. During the stay, students actively participated in various educational and experiential activities focused on understanding the rich flora and fauna of the Gir region, ecological balance, and the importance of nature conservation. The Nature Education Camp proved to be an enriching and memorable experience and experiential learning beyond the classroom for the students. This camp was co-ordinated by Dr. Dhananjay Pandya and Mr. Divyesh Makwana under the guidance of Dr. Smita Chhag, Principal, GSC, Veraval.
