Under the guidance of Dr. Smita B. Chhag, total 91 students of F.Y.B.Sc., S.Y.B.Sc., & T.Y.B.Sc. with all the faculty members of Government Science College, Veraval were gathered for celebration of Guru Purnima. As spiritual fervor and academic zeal as students and faculty came together to pay homage to their teachers. This traditional festival honors academic and spiritual teachers who impart wisdom and guidance. The program started at 2 pm on 22nd July, 2024. It started with Mata Saraswati Vandana with lightning of the lamp by Principal Dr. Smita B. Chhag. After that students give Bhavanjali to their respected professors by Kum Kum Tilak. Minaxi Sisodiya, Heera Pandit, and Harshida Kava these 3 students gave such a beautiful speech about importance of the Guru in our life. At the end of the program, Principal Madam addressed all the students with her inspiring speech. Dr. Chirag M. Gosai coordinated the Guru Purnima celebration. The Guru Purnima celebrations at Government Science College, Veraval concluded with a sense of fulfillment and unity. The event honored the teachers and reinforced the importance of learning, respect, and gratitude within the college community. As students left with renewed respect for their mentors, the spirit of Guru Purnima continued to resonate, promising a future enriched by knowledge and wisdom imparted by dedicated educators.
