Somnath Swabhiman Parv 2026
January 11, 2026
Students and faculty had the privilege to visit Somnath Temple during the historic Somnath Swabhiman Parv (8–11 January 2026), commemorating 1,000 years since the first attack by Mahmud of Ghazni in 1026.
The Parv stands as a powerful reminder of the unyielding spirit of India’s civilisation, celebrating our rich cultural, spiritual, and historical heritage. The presence of Narendra Modi added profound national significance to this momentous occasion.
This visit inspired reflection, pride, and unity—reaffirming faith in resilience, heritage, and collective strength.
🔱 “ॐ नमः शिवाय”
🔱 “Har Har Mahadev”
🔱 “Where faith stands tall, history bows.”
