On August 7, 2024, Government Science College, Veraval, successfully hosted a Cyber Awareness Seminar aimed at educating students about various aspects of cyber safety and security. This seminar was organized under the guidance of Dr. Smita Chhag, the Principal of the college, and coordinated by Dr. Mamta Chauhan. The event was held in collaboration with local police departments, including the Cyber Police Station Gir Somnath, Somnath Marine Police Station, and Veraval City Police Station.
