Government Science College, Veraval, proudly celebrated World Lion Day with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event was organized to raise awareness about the importance of lion conservation and the need to protect these majestic creatures and their habitats. The celebration began with a rally, where students and faculty members held posters and banners highlighting the significance of lion conservation. The college Principal Dr. Smita B. Chhag gave her speech, she delivered a thought-provoking lecture on the lion populations and the efforts being made to protect them. NSS Coordinator Dr. Sandeep G. Chovatiya and NSS Volunteers participated in this event, where participants vowed to do their part in supporting lion conservation efforts. Through this celebration, Government Science College, Veraval, demonstrated its commitment to environmental awareness and wildlife preservation.
