π« Government Science College, Veraval
On the occasion of World Cancer Day, Government Science College, Veraval organized a meaningful Health Awareness Programme in collaboration with the District Anti-NCD Cell, Gir Somnath and Government Hospital, Veraval to spread awareness about major non-communicable diseases like Diabetes, Hypertension, and Cancer.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Smita Chhag and coordinated by Dr. Mamta H. Chauhan and Mr. J. B. Zala. A good number of students attended the session and participated actively in the discussions. Expert speakers Dr. Khushbu Hadiya (NCD Medical Officer) and Dr. Parita (Gynecologist & Obstetrician) delivered informative lectures focusing on prevention, early detection, and healthy lifestyle habits.
The programme started with the welcome address and formal inauguration, followed by an inspiring talk from Principal Dr. Smita Chhag. The session was interactive and very informative, making it beneficial for all participants. π‘
