Visit of Madras Christian College, Tambaram, Chennai

Under the Government of Gujarat's initiative for faculty learning and exposure on NAAC accreditation and best practices, a study tour was organized for the faculty of Government Science College, Veraval to visit Madras Christian
College, Tambaram, Chennai, on 27th & 28th January 2026. The delegation
included faculty members Dr. Smita B. Chhag (Principal), Dr. Chiragbala
Gosai (HOD, Zoology Department), Mr. Vikram Bakotra (HOD, Physics
Department) and Dr. Dhananjay Pandya (Assistant Professor, Chemistry Department). The visit focused on interactive sessions with Principal, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Heads of various Departments (HoDs), Placement Cell, Library and Innovation Park. Key learnings encompassed NAAC-aligned quality enhancement strategies, innovative teaching-learning practices, placement mechanisms, and resource utilization. The tour fostered cross-institutional collaboration and provided actionable insights for implementing best practices at our college.
