October 21, 2026
As a part of activities under Science club of our college, today (from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm; 10th October 2026), I visited the District Community Science Center, Gir-Somnath, along with 22 students of B.Sc. Semester-1 from our college.
The students gained valuable exposure to the Science Laboratory, Intellectual Property section, and the Innovation Lab. They also watched a few scientific short documentary films projected on the screen, which enhanced their understanding of various concepts.
Additionally, a quiz consisting of 30 questions was organized, and prizes were awarded to the top three winners.
Rank:
1. Lakha Raheel
2. Dharecha Puja
3. Jamod Meet
The visit was highly informative and enriching for the students, inspiring them to explore scientific learning and innovation further. The event was organized by Dr. Dhananjay Pandya, Science Club Coordinator with the support of Ms. Khushali Dodiya under the guidance of Dr. Smita Chhag madam, Principal, Government Science College, Veraval.
