Under the guidance of Principal Dr. S. B. Chhag on September 5, 2024, Government Science College, Veraval, celebrated Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm and respect. The event was an occasion to honour the dedicated educators who contribute significantly to the academic and personal growth of students. The celebration commenced at 10:30 AM with a warm welcome to all the students who play a role as teacher today. The celebration featured participation from a total of 18 students of F. Y. B.Sc., S.Y. B.Sc., and T. Y. B.Sc. who were involved in teaching of F. Y. B.Sc. & S. Y. B.Sc. students with science related informative topics such as Dentition in mammals, Poisonous & Non-poisonous snakes, Integration, Drug formation etc. The event included an interactive session where students and teachers shared their experiences and stories. The celebration ends with closing remarks from the Principal, Dr. S. B. Chhag, she highlighted the vital role of teachers in shaping the future and the importance of acknowledging their hard work and dedication. All the students who played a role as a teacher felicitated with prizes. This informal interaction allowed for a meaningful exchange of appreciation and admiration. The Teachers' Day celebration at Government Science College, Veraval, was a memorable and heartfelt event.
