On 17th December 2024, a Cyber Security and Awareness event was held at Government Science College, Veraval, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The session aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of cyber security in today’s digital age. The session was well-attended by 67 students to learn more about the growing threats in the digital world and how to protect themselves from cyber risks. The event was structured to provide practical insights into the dangers lurking online and the measures students could take to safeguard their personal information. Coordinator of cyber event Ms. Kajal Barad began by defining cyber security and explaining its significance in protecting both personal and institutional data. She highlighted the increasing reliance on digital platforms for education, banking, and social interaction, making cyber security a critical aspect of modern life. This event was organized by Ms. Kajal Barad under the guidance of the principal of the college Dr. Smita B. Chhag.
