On 7th January 2025 Government Science College, Veraval hosted a debate competition. The main objective of the debate competition was to foster a spirit of healthy discussion, promote public speaking, and encourage students to critically engage with contemporary social, political, and environmental issues. The competition also aimed to create awareness about the importance of communication in academic and professional settings. Eight students were registered for the competition. They were divided into a group of two. The topic for the debate was shared with the students in advance, ‘Is Artificial Intelligence a warning bell for the human race?’ All the participants shared their thoughts and opinion on the topic. Zala Priya and Zala Yashvanti provided the most inputs in the debate and thus became a winning group.
