Government Science College, Veraval successfully conducted a Financial Literacy Awareness Webinar on 16th July 2025, following an initiative by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), who reached out to the college to spread financial awareness among students. The session was graced by Mr. Ajay Kumar Upadhyay, expert speaker from SEBI, who delivered a comprehensive talk on crucial topics such as personal financial planning, investor rights, digital banking safety, precautions against financial frauds, and the importance of saving and investing at an early stage. A total of 42 students actively joined the online session and benefited from the expert guidance. The event was smoothly coordinated by Mr. J.B. Zala and Ms. P.L. Mange, and was organized under the inspiring leadership of Dr. Smita B. Chaag, Principal of the college. The session proved to be highly informative and played a significant role in enhancing the financial literacy of participating students.
